Rabies Test

Check that your pets have adequate rabies protection before travelling abroad (or before returning home). LD 31 EVA is accredited to perform rabies antibody titre testing to verify the effectiveness of rabies vaccination in domestic carnivores, using the FAVN (Fluorescent Antibody Virus Neutralisation) test.

Travel Packs

In addition to rabies antibody titre testing, some countries require additional laboratory tests before allowing a pet to re-enter their territory. To make your travel preparations easier, our laboratory offers travel testing packages that include the analyses required for international pet travel.

How it works ?

Blood sampling

We analyze the samples taken by your veterinarian (sampling on a dry tube sent to the laboratory). Will be required: 1mL of Serum

Request form

Complete the analyses request form specific to your need.

Send your sample

If the samples arrive from a country outside the European Union, please complete the preliminary import authorization form and send it to us by e-mail: we will send it back signed. Attach the sample request form and, if necessary, the pre-import permit form. Send the whole to the LD 31 EVA according to the methods indicated in the document "Information concerning the sending of a sample" The pre-import authorization form must also be placed outside the package.

Payment

The payment has been done to get your results, if you have not paid by France Cheque or money order, pay by credit card or bank transfer the analyzes. If you pay by CB, an e-mail will be sent to you upon receipt of the samples. For payments by bank transfer, please indicate the name of the animal, the name of the owner, and the chip number on your payment.

Results

The results will be communicated to you within 10 days by e-mail and / or mail according to your request.

Some complementary points

Think about connecting flights! You must follow the rules of the country of correspondence. Do not hesitate to check this point with the airline of your trip.

WARNING !
The regulations evolve very quickly. It is therefore necessary to check with the embassies / ministries the constraints related to the transport and the entry of your pet in the country, as well as the analyzes that have to be done.
